Anybody know of a good reliable tint shop here in the twin cities? Has anybody had their Probe tinted and what did it cost?

Whats the max tint here in MN for:
Windshield
Front Windows
Rear Windows
Hatchback Window

Legal max is 50% cops do have things to measure this too.

like mn probe gt said 50% is the limit for the sides and rear however, the windshield is not legal to tint. If you want to tint yours I will be redoing mine this summer, let me know when and I will show you how or if you want pay me and I can do yours too

yeah the legal limit is 50% but i've had 33% for a while now w/out any problems and i have been pulled over a few times for other things... they never really said anything... i'm going to be redoing my back window sometime this summer cause it started to peal on me...

Just make sure your window is rolled all the way down when they walk up to your car if you get pulled over. The main reason they don't like dark tint is because they can't see you and the weapon you might be holding.

Where is a good tint shop that isn't too hard on the wallet? It sounds like all of you did yours yourself. I've heard it can be a big pain in the ass.

i'm not sure.. but i can say DO NOT take it to the tint shop off of 694 and white bear ave (now what was that place called again?)

i know there is a guy from wipoc that will do it for like a 100 dollars for any fellow prober he is a member of that club and lives in milwakee he did all of the rides from that club and told me he would do any tint for a 100 just to let you know...
