Just want to compare prices between CDN and US shops, i noticed a bunch of people on PT saying there turbos cost them $4-5k.

But how MUCH is it just to do the piping and install work???

I was quoted $1600cdn @ motion performance that's around $1100us.

I am going to get another quote but this time from a guy who works out of his home. He makes headers and custom piping for a few mechine shops up here. I expect it should be alittle lower than $1600cdn.

a friend and i are doing this ourselves. i have no idea how much this would cost... i suggest that you look in to doing the work yourself....

I think if I go forced induction I will buy a do it your self kit like the knight units and do it myself, and so I dont over boost it with my compression I would be scared to go over 5-6 psi and I'll prolly do a SC vs a TC do to heat issues and that and I dont plan to all race mine just want it fast on the street. I bought f-body for the track
I am the kinda person that likes to do it myself if its a mod but an actually need repair I usually pawn off on someone else( for warrantied work)

part of me would rather do it myself put the other part of me would want someone else to have the headaches of doing it, and if something gets fuked i have someone the blame :)

true, you will have somebody to blame but... maybe it could have been prevented if you had done it yourself and made sure htat you did it right in the first place...
