you have a gt so i am assuming that you have fogs already... so yes, you can use the stock wiring... just use a multimeter to determine which wire is +/-
so just add tips to the wire and plug it in or get a harness that will fit? I got a test light to find pos and neg......

That should do the trick:thup:

It will work - the only reason you might not want to try it is if the lights are too bright - they might pull too much juice and possibly melt or otherwise screw up the stock wiring, realy, and switch setup.
But 35 or 55W lights should not be a problem, only if you were going to 100W or trying to run multiple sets or something would there be an issue.

no probs w/my piaa's so i doubt that you will have any either...
yea.. these are just 35w=55w= so.. shouldnt have any problem worrying about melting or overheating...

Nope. I got 65watt bulbs in mine. No problems in 3 years. No worries!:smokin:

speaking of problems with da fogs; I have aftermarket and original, and it is every other week I have to replace one of the bulbs in either set. Is my car a lemon or am I a lemonhead?

yeah, there cheap-er. Heh,heh. But the stocks go out every month too! It might be due to water in the case, but the other set it watertight and they go out too.

it's definatly the water in that case that is blowing your stockers... not sure about the other ones...

any1 else have that prob (with the stock fogs)? I drilled a small drain hole (or blow hole as I call it-it blows I had to do it) right on the bottom of both of them. It helps a little.:yuk:
i had stock on this 93 and it was shitty (excuse me) but one would be getting water and the other side would work on and off... When i had my 91 probe i put aftermarket and what i got was great and never broke on me... but maybe you got a short in the wiring somewhere, where when you hit a bump on the highway and it would move the wiring to another wire or touch the body and short out... that is a possibilty.... check the wiring.. it could be that..

yeah, I never thought of that. I did do some messing around with the fogs when I first got the car to rewire them to turn on by themselves. I'll have me and my dad check it out. Hes good at electronics.
if you had more than 55 watt fog lights its bound to melt your relay or your fuse links to the fuse box causing it to short and blow... if they are 55 watt and under then its the bad connection to where it would short out or touching some where that could cause too much juice to it and burn out.. sometimes it can be the alternator can do that too.. be aware.. not saying that is the problem just a thought to check from time to time....

hmmm...
Well, they are 55W. But I will have to checkf or loose wires. In the car that is. Not in my brain.;) :p

I got stock ones, I have never gotten water in my lights and my car sits pretty low to the ground.:smokin: I have had to replace the bulbs a couple of times. Not recently though. Sounds like a wiring issue to me also.

just checked wiring for both sets yesterday. They both work [right now] and the wiring is not loose anywhere. I decided to add some more wire-ties near the front end just for added insurance, but I doubt that was really the prob.
Oh well.
It is possible that the relay is going bad or the switch... that is what i would check next.... after that then it must be the rattle of the exterior of the fog light shaking too much to shake the bulb enuf to burn out... (like speeding over a speed bump at 60 MPH!) or taking curves WAY TOO fast and hit some there and here... just giving some helpful feedback.. not meaning that you are actually doing these things.. although...:D nevermind....

are these the rainbow fogs? If so, How does it look?Is it a solid color that changes at different angles or you can see all colors from all angles? I want a set that clearly seperates colors from different angles. Does anyone know what i'm talking about?
no these are blue.. but i know what you are talking about... i personally dont like the rainbow... i like the clear or blue...

Do you know what if the rainbow ones they make are like the ones I described above?
yes they do make rainbow lights... for both factory and aftermarket lighting... the factory is the bulb... and the aftermarket is the whole fog light housing with wires and more... just make sure you get the 55w to 60 watt bc if you get more than 80 watts.. it could short and burn your wires.... i hope this answer your questions... if not... :Pissed:

If you've seen the new audi's and bimmers, you know what I'm talking about. They transpose different colored lights from different angles. The thing is, I can't afford HID but they do have fog lights that do the same thing. I don't like the rainbow bulbs that you can see all the colors mixed together from all angles, I think that looks crappy too.
I'm talking about seeing when the car approaches, you see purple(and only purple) straight on. Blue from the front and side, green when it gets closer, and yellow when it's about to pass you. Morphing it's colors into another  Coolest thing I've seen in terms of lighting:D

My CATZ had this feature until the bulb's blew. I didn't get the CATZ replacements, so I know they don't do this anymore. Was very cool on my Supra!!

The ones I had were the MSP's, not sure of any more than that now. My buddy sold them to me for like $80. They were retailing for over 200 at the time.
They were pretty damn bright! Sharp yellow from the front, white from one side, and on the other was a cool purple. Pretty neat, but also expensive bulbs to replace. $100  :Pissed:
