Well i bought my new PGT and i thought the from the front it looked a whole lot nicer than the old one then i realized what it was. The new one has no front license plate. It looks 100% better but being its mandatory i think i will have to put it back on when the plates come. I would keep it off for awhile but thats just a good reason for cops to pull me over.

Yup.....front plates ruin the probe....but those bastards make us have them in MN. You know....it's only so cops can reflect their laser off the plate to calculate your speed........But that means they get mad when you don't have it........

stock probe bumper looks funny wit out one to me. i mounted mine lower on the bumper and pointed it at the ground. still screws up the radar. i once went through a speed trap ( i didnt see it till to late) at 80mph on hwy10 55 zone, i watched the cop gun me but didn't follow. i thought i had my third speeding ticket for sure. never got one in the probe dou.
COPS CAN'T SEE ME!!!!
knock on wood!

You might get away without it on, but be careful. If you park in Dinkytown, Uptown, or Downtown (funny names, eh?) where cops patrol around and give out a lot of tickets (parking, expired tabs, etc.) then if they see it off you will get a ticket, guaranteed if they notice. They love that stuff, especially on bright yellow cars.

My PGT doesn't have a font license plate either and I love it! Looks 100% better w/o it.
In Kansas and Missouri I know that they don't need front plates and only get one plate when they get 'em. I think Minnesota traffic laws are stupid as hell. They want us to wreck the beauty of our cars for nothing.
If I was to get a fix-it ticket for not having one, how much do you think it would cost to have one put on by Ford? Would there be a way to get out of it??

Ya know, I've been told to put that thing on twice, and the bastard just wont stay on!!
Screw a front plate! I really dont like our front ends at all so I put my bra on. It makes the front look flat, which I like one thousand times better. But to put the bra on, the plates gotta come off. I havnt been pulled over yet this time, and Im at the U of M everyday.

I kicked mine a couple of times due to the hard work due to the stupid cv joints and boots. I dunno how its still standing but i wouldn't doubt it if it looks a little smashed in.

I took my front license plate off when I got my bumper painted and just stuck it in the left side of the front window. Unfortunatelly I've gotten pulled over plenty of times and twice they gave me sh:Pissed: about it. I just got a ticket last week for not front license plate mounted, 65$ which I don't have to support Maple Grove police
