tools!!!!!

yeah i am going to school for auto service tech, i start on the 22nd but i had to buy my tools today. i shopped around a lil bit then decided to go all out because of the dicounted prices. after all was said and done my box and the tools ran me 3600 dollars :wtf: Snap On of course :) but yeah i am pretty excited and broke as hell at the same time. but i got tools :thup:

Yeah, thats why I was thinking it's wierd. I know a couple people who went to Dunwoody who I know for sure didn't have to buy tools. Plus a few who went to HTC and they never said anything about tools but I guess I don't know for sure...

i'm going to riverland in albert lea. you could either buy your own tools or rent a set from the school i chose to buy my own. i fugured i would eventually have to anyways and i thought i'd take advantage of the discounted prices i think it was 40% off something like that

yea we get discounted prices as well. but all the tools are provided. we are not allowed to bring our own. they do not want them getting mixed up with the schools tools. it is all included in tuition. you dont have a choice to use the schools tools or not. it is mandatory

with the cost of tuition, I am broke as hell. wouldnt be able to afford tools if I needed em.
