View Full Version : Time again for the 507 meet!

Last years meet was pretty cool. A LOT more Probe's came then I thought would. Hell, a lot more people showed up than I thought would. I guess when there's a meet word gets around.

Back to the point: The meet is on May 6th at 1pm. It is at Hiniker Pond in North Mankato.

Directions: Coming from North or South 169 turn West on Lind Street (you should see Days Inn), and turn left (South) on Range Street. Then turn right (West) into Hiniker Pond on Butterworth.

If you've never heard of 507, it's a southen MN car forum. ( www.fivezeroseven.com ). Last year was a lot of fun. There was enough food to feed the whole city. Nice cars everywhere... supercharged Mustangs geting beat by D-series Civics. It was a really great time!

I'll be there. If you are coming try and let me know by posting on this topic. I'll make a list on the first post of this thread and the 507 thread.

If you are going to bring some food let me know too.

Dang. I would show up, but I got the dyno days to go to that Sunday. Too much driving for 1 weekend...

Yeah, I think Cedar Falls, or Rock Falls is having an event too.

yes i'm going to leave early to get started right away. I need lots of pratice. I have never done drag on a real 1/4 before. lots on the street but never for time. I'm hoping to kick a lot of ass while i'm there and to turn some heads also. i'm not really fast (lookin for somewhere around 14.5), but I will take someone buy surprize!:lol:

I never really got a good time out of my Probe at Rock Falls... but it was fun!

How far away is Rock Falls anways from the Twin Cities? Some tell me it's an hour or so, while some say 45 min...

It was about 90 minutes from Eden Prairie. The place is right outside of Eau Claire. And I won't be making it to the meet, already have plans

I was there. I left when the Supercharged Cobra and the Turbo Civic went to race, but I was one of the last people to leave... so I was there. :D

lol, i witnessed that race also, i was in fleas focus. but i left shortly after we returned from that.

You wouldn't have minding seeing the Mustang lose after you heard the owner hype it up like it was a track car or something. The thing had a monsterous FMIC... I have no idea what was going on with that car. I remember talking with him before he raced and I asked him what he was running for fuel management and he said "My Foot".

lol i was there, i really dont have a clue as to what you look like, so that was a problem as i dont know many people personally from 507, i was mostly hangin out with fuzz and flea, and swaps/splat was there as well. What car did you take there? i didnt see the probe, there was only one other besides mine, not a GT though.
