If you had the opportunity to get on of these three cars which one would you get and why?

2nd Gen Ingetra RS (90-94)
5th Gen Celica GT or GTS (90-93)

also does anyone know if the ingetra is a NON-interference engine?

Why is the GT on there if the GTS is an option?

I would get the 2g intergra ONLY if I had another daily driver. That would allow me to "get it done"...

As far as the Celica, ehh, its not my bag, baby.

3 cars?? I only see 2 there. If i had to pick id take the integra, i assume a much larger aftermarket for it, and i think they look better as long as its not rusting and whatnot

I was going to throw the PGT on the list, but I know I would get a bias opinion. And I'm talking from a performance aspect. I want something that will out perform alot of cars, but if I wanted to drive it to chicago and back I could with no problems.

I would take a 2g integra over a 94 or older Probe with similar miles. And as far as driving to Chicago and back w/ no problems, the Probe would've been way OFF my list. Both the celica and Integra are pretty reliable cars.

didnt see that on the list jay, lol

But as far as reliablity goes, yeah either of those would be better then a probe, unless you had owned the probe since it was new, the maintence makes all the difference. Also the only way i think youre gonna be able to beat most cars out there, with a car this old, is to be modded, cars today come from the factory with better performance in general then 10 years ago...

ALL honda engines are interference, the 2nd gen integra is a nice start... once you swap in a VTEC engine or a turbo
the gts again, nice start, however slow unless you drop in a 3ste

I can't vouch for the reliability of the other two cars, but I've been driving my PGT back and forth from Chicago since I bought it last summer. I've probably made the round-trip seven or eight times so far, once as a straight shot from Minneapolis to Urbana-Champaign. Ran like a champ. The car's at around 114K right now, and I bought it with 102K.

From what I'm hearing, however, I suspect this is an anomaly. I certainly wouldn't risk it in an automatic (like I did up until last year, when the transmission died without notice around town).

Damn you do alot of driving. I bought my Contour a year and half ago and I've accumulated just under 20,000 miles (long trips to DC)

Performance or reliability. You can only choose 1.

If you want a car that performs very well, then don't wxpect it to be reliable. Reliability and mods are inversly related. As you mod the car, the reliability will go down. You can't always get the bost of both worlds.
