yeah...everyone goes 90mph on that road. I remember going 80 and getting repeatedly passed by strings of several cars. :lol:

Yeah I had just gotten a ticket one time for doing 80mph, so the one time I was doing 65 almost 1/2 the way. Well after getting passed by a string of 20 or so cars doing 90, I started to follow someone doing 75, and guess what? BOTH of us got pulled over by 2 cops. I was so pissed. They could pull 2 of us over, but not 10-20.... thats why I always find a pack of fast moving cars and jump into the middle of em....

It's even worse going south on a Sunday evening. Those people are nuts.

Are you familiar with the pricing and/or safety requirements at the track?

Yeah it's 5 bucks to watch, and 20 to run. You get as many runs as you can get in in the time they are open. I think it's standard NHRA rules.

I know the basic NHRA rules, and that's if you're 12.5 or faster, you need a certified roll cage. But what about the other things, like the helmet and safety gear? Do i need some kind of rated helmet, or can I ust use my snowmobile helmet? And do I need a fire extinguisher, things like that?

Where would i find this info at? Its not on BIRs sites.

I went with my Brother and some friends on June 21st and it took about an hour before they accually started running.
Bring something to drink because it's like 2.75 for a 20 oz pop.

Yeah you need a Helmet no matter.
but just a FYI: the open the gates at 5:00pm and then they inspect so if you wanna run a lot get there early, get inspected then you can start and get tons more runs in.

We took the Stealth to BIR last wednesday. Clicked off an 11.65 @ 127 on pump gas and all seasons. Still working the bugs out. With the current setup, the car's capable of getting into the 10s and over 130 trap. Then it's on to race gas and slicks.

dude your Stealth is so Fucking sweet, It was my favorite car to run all night.

The first time it backfired everyone jumped it was so funny, It scared me.

Did you see the neon's tranny Blow? they seemed to turn up the boost for that second run and it didn't work so well.

But if you get there at 4 and wait an hour you will get like 10+ runs in easy.

Accually on the 12th the closed early at 8:15 because of temps, So i can't Garantee if it will be 8 or 9. But there was no one there on the 12th, u could have gotten like 50 runs in.
