It's been awhile since we have had a mnpoc gathering. We need to just have something simple where Hopefully a bunch of us can get together and have some fun whether it be Camping, partying, grillen n chillin, mod and repair's or even a gaming/hang out deal, kinda like the meets we had at Dustins house:thup: I know if I host it no one would show cuz im up here in the stix:lol: so if anyone has any ideas for a meet lets hear it. I'm up for anything even if the fun consists of playing Halo:lol:
Or um Bowling in a perfect world.

Like thats gonna happen. I've only been to 2 meets, and we only got 2/3 people from here total on each. We got 3 of us for the Dyno, and 2 for Rock Falls. And those both had like 6 months of advance notice.

thats because a lot of the people that used to go to all the meets have moved on. Ive been to a few meets that had around 15 of us there, but those were a year or two ago now.
Some of the older guys just arent around much anymore like the used to be. cough Ben, Justin, Flea, Fuzz, Splat, Matt etc. Some have moved away like Jay and Heather.
Its just a lot harder to get everyone together then it used to be, sorry defiler you missed the hayday of this place by a couple years. Before I started telling everyone I saw on PT from MN about this place it was dead as hell in here.
Now im not saying we shouldnt still try to have big get togethers etc. just saying its a lot harder then it once was :(

well its a lot more difficult as our schedules have been thrown out of wack as we all got new jobs or whatever, changed cars, moved away, or just plain stopped caring
sounds jsut like my civic board when everyone stopped doing stuff to their cars cause it was pretty much futile to make it fast, i however have never owned a probe, but with car enthusasm doesnt matter what ya roll in, as long as you wanna tinker with it

My work schedule prevents me from going to a meet. I've never been to one but I'd certainly like to, however it would have to be on a weekend.

Now im not saying we shouldnt still try to have big get togethers etc. just saying its a lot harder then it once was :(I miss those days:( trust me when I named this thread "one for the ages" it was a act of sarcasm, I'm the same way I'm busy with life, going back to skool, I don't own a probe and of course I work just like everyone else. I'm not excpecting a huge turnout of people at a meet, I realize the circumstances are much different now that we're all older and stuff. But it would be nice to have a meet where we all just have some fun:) If it happens great if not well shit son.
But like like you said this club used to be real active with the meets and I'm glad I had the opprotunity to live out the "Haydays" of mnpoc:lol:
I wouldnt mind doing an old skool meet with the old mnpoc'ers. But with my schedule and working 10-12 hours daily, I have no time to take a vacation.

I'm new her but I'd be up for a meet.. Probes not running right now but My jeep is.. I've found a few guys around my school that own probes and I'm gonna try to get them to sign up to mnpoc next time I talk to em.
I wouldnt mind doing an old skool meet with the old mnpoc'ers. But with my schedule and working 10-12 hours daily, I have no time to take a vacation.
you wouldnt have to take a vacation, we just would have to see if we can have something on a day where alot of us are Not busy.

I have one ... lets put a new engine in Thumper and get him running again so dani stops ripping her hair out and getting funny looks from people while shes on the side of the road kicking and screaming at her car. :)

Why am I not surprised on every time we try to plan a meet, You're the first to speak out alcohol.
ok, lets organize a MOA meet, there's plenty to do there, and if the timing is correct a possible after-party at a volunteer members pad, set the date people, i'll start a thread.
