My work gives me 40 hrs/wk. No more, no less. After getting shafted on taxes I get $800 or so every 2 weeks... barely enough to pay the bills...

You're getting shafted. In New Brighton last year, they were hiring for $9/hr STARTING if you had ANY experience... and the Quarry one always is hiring for the 24-hr drive thru for that much... so your mickey d's is screwing u over

Haha yeah, I don't really like it either. But now that I'm an MIT It is a bit easier, just have to deal with all the retarded customers that get mad because they ordered a 2 cheese burger meal no cheese, the grill people put it in the cheeseburger wrap and then just put the grill slip on it... THeres no cheese but they wont check it cause they HAVE to come back and yell at the manager on duty! :Pissed: but it's funny to see them when you open it up, and theres no ches they go from  to  and I go from :D to  haha.

But yeah, another thing is that in about a month or so I should be a certified manager and that pays 9.25 an hour with the first raise 3 months later... And it's gonna be hard to find a job that starts at 9.25 an hour and I know how to do it really well.

I've never worked with a Micros but I'm sure it's better than what I've worked with in the past. At the Green Mill if I had to cash out a server's check on a terminal they haven't logged into during their current shift I would have to go find one that they have.. then I would have to go back to the front register to get cash to make change. I wasn't trying to say anything bad about them. It's just that POS = Peice of Shit to most people. Not Point of Sale.

And you mentioned a long time ago you worked for Micros and I have seen them almost everywhere.

That's ridiculous. 3700 doesn't work anything like that. You can do anything at any terminal. And it's super easy to use multiple forms of payment or split checks or any of that 'fun' stuff. Granted one product is always going to have something another doesn't. BUT you can write programs to do almost anything you need to if it's not already in the software.

I wasn't trying to say anything bad about them. It's just that POS = Peice of Shit to most people. Not Point of Sale.

I know, they are everywhere. It's insanity! And that's true...I can't tell people I work on 'POS' systems. I have to say 'point of sale' systems.
