ok, so after my little mishap this afternoon involving the belt snapping off my alternator/water pump, i stacked a washer up and got the pulleys aligned up correctly

i also hooked up a new tach so i can see what the rpms im at through the wheel

I had no idea that they tach read opposite on other cars. What is the sobe bottle for? Some kind of coolant overflow tank?

the tach went counterclockwise on the later model x1/9's cause too many people were complaining they couldnt read it through the steering wheel, the sobe bottle is a coolant overflow

that picture was taken on sunday, at dakota county technical college

it started missing again on tuesday, but i knew it was the points in the disty that needed to be changed, i had ordered a new set of points on thursday, and i got them on monday, but i changed them out and all is fine again

and yes it is definatly as quick as it was around the corners, i took an onramp yesterday at 90, not a clover leaf, but still its quick, i was on the floor topping out 4th gear hehe

but theres other things i gotta get done on the car tho, like the exhaust leaks.. and the brakes, but that will come when my budget allows
