Andrew is leaving in april for the army ... SO we should all meet up at hooters around 2pm for a little 'going away & best of luck' for Andrew.

Thats right everybody. just to fill you in a little more on what she said. I'm being deployed to Iraq. thats right. I won't be home till sometime around fall of '08. thats a long time but hay thats what they need me to do. as for the helicoptor part. well thats what I do. I'm a crew chief on the uh-60 blackhawk. so the whole time I'm over there I should log somewhere around 500-600 flight hours. that is a lot for 12 months of flying. well guys/gals, show up! Oh the 90 was nothin, I know it wasn't close to what it'll do. Only I was down a residential street and thats way to fast for me. I Only speed on empty roads usually and dont' go over by that much.

It's my dad's b-day, so we went to downtown St. Paul to watch the parade, or atleast I thought I was gonna watch the parade. Turns out I was in the parade, I was with the UAW group. It was pretty neat seeing the crowd's reaction toward UAW workers from the Ranger plant that is getting closed down soon.

I went down to springfield, mo to pick up one of our blackhawks. when i got there everything was ok. so we started doing the test flights on the hawk and when we went to do a max power check in flight. the #2 engine low fuel pressure light came on. we tried a few different thing to get it to go away. I.E. changing the pump the pressure switch but that didn't work. so now they have to take the whole fuel system apart and fix it. so I wasn't able to come home on friday like I was hoping to. it ended up being on saturday. the blackhawk that was sent for us didn't show up till around 2 p.m.

yes we did figure it out. now they have to take the entire fuel system apart on the #2 side all the way to the fuel tank. well I don't have to worry about it any more oh well.
