Possible future meets

I've toyed around with a few ideas...

1) All drive the 2-3 hours up to Sabin and watch Fallguy run at the track (And possibly also run)

2) Track Day meet at either Rock Falls or BIR

3) Another dyno meet (Only if people are planning on modding thier cars over the summer. Otherwise, it would be pointless)

4) Bowling meet (All except Rybs )

5) Another MoA meet

6) 5-on-5 football meet (Oh yeeaaahhh)

I know I know... damn Probes. The CRX should run a nice time I'm sure, as long as he doesn't pussy foot it. Hell he wanted to end the dyno pull at only 6500, but that engine redlines at 8200 iirc, so he needs rev that thing out but he doesn't seem real willing to do that right now.

The one time I ran him from a dig with his new setup I got him real bad, no contest at all. With some more time behind the wheel I'm thinking at the very very least sub 14s are attainable. Wait until it gets some mods on it.

rock falls is the closest drag strip from minneapolis/st paul. It's near eau claire, wi.

That's debatable. I can make it to Brainerd from the Blaine/CR area in an hour 45minutes (Even quicker if I go 85mph). It took us the same amount of time to get from Rock Falls from Maplewood/WBL last year.:shrug:

On Wednesday nights theres tons of cars that run 15+ second runs.


It would be funny to see someone show up at the NHRA nationals there in a normal car:lol:


I just dont like RF because of a few reasons:

1- Packed as fuck
2- People that are there are normally dumbfuck ricers (like 1/2 the people from MNSC:lol: )
3- Track conditions blow (BIR isnt much better, but its still better)
4- Way too expensive.
5- Sorta in Hickville. I had to drive 10 minutes to get to the closest gas station. BIR has one outside the gates, and within a few minutes theres a few more.
6- its in WI. Wisconsin cops suck major d1ck

Brainerd sounds good--I always have Wednesdays off. Otherwise, if we went to Rock Falls I could take off work if I knew enough in advance. I'd be awesome if we all went to the track. I want to run my car but I know I'd never go on my own and do it.

I know most of you are in the twin cities, but I have been kind of kicking around the idea of having a "work on your probe or mx6" Saturday morning at my shop in Eagle Lake (suburb of Mankato). This would probably make the most sense if it happens to be the same day as an early afternoon fivezeroseven meet. Not a huge shop, but we have 6 hoists and an alignment rack. I would have to spend some time prepairing for it, but it might be kind of nice to do some minor stuff in the morning and go to a larger meet in the pm. It goes without saying for insurance purposes that alcohol consumption would be a no-no at the shop. Just a thought and it would probably have to be in July.
