its a friday i know, probably hard for some of you to get free, but a bunch of friends and i are going to cedar falls raceway for some night drags

Aug. 17th...Fun Night
Gates Open - 5:30pm
Racing - 6:30pm - 9:00pm
$15 to race

we're leaving mankato at around 3, but from the cities i'm sure it would be faster to shoot down I-35

I might be down for that. I know I have the day off work so its a decent possibility. Do you know if a helmet is required?

BIkes aren't allowed by chance are they? I'm curious to see what I can run on my sv.. And I dont think I'll have my car done and all the little bug works out that soon. I can only wish.

Yup. If I end up going (doubt it tho) Id have a spare you could use.


Last time I was at RF they had bikes going. But you have to race head-head with other bikes, not the cars. Not sure about at CF tho...



Dude, RF is way closer than CF. For us in the metro, thats, what? 3 hrs IIRC? No thnx.

Yup.
no helmet on cars 13.99+ i believe it was, i was running 15.7-16.1's with the fofo and was not required to wear a helmet.

I'm used to RF and BIR, where they require all cars to have helmets:shrug:



Like I said before, everytime me or someone ahs tried to arrange a track meet, nobody ever shows.
