good thing about probes, frameless doors, easy to tint yourself, back windows are trickier but can be done, if you insist on having on done, midwest custom concepts in the old pawn america building next to KMart is where i'd go

There is a guy who runs his own little shop, hes out in owatonna though, 45 min drive or so, and its around $180 or so to get the entire car done i think, i can get his info if you want, i had him remove the tint on my probe, he knows what hes doing. There really arent that many options in Roch really, only a few i found and they were all like $50 a window or some crazy price like that, good luck.

legal i think is soething crazy high like 25% i think...personally mine will be 5% in back 15% in front, the rear windows cops wont give you crap about, the front they will so i wouldtn push it to much.. if you do it yourself wait til summer, doing it outside with the hot sun helps it stick better

yeah, that would be Dan.

hurricanetint.com

tell him swaps sent you and he might let you sit on the riding lawnmower while he tints your car!

He's a great guy and funny as fuck. If you're nice he'll do a dance for you while he's working. It's a small business in his garage but he does great work.

Legal limit is 50%. Anything darker than that can get you a fine. Too bad 50% is so damn light.

You will get ticketed for that, within a month tops. Not sure if you know or not, but the smaller the percentage is, the darker the tint is.

Idk Ty, in Rochester I never once got questioned about it. However in Mankato I was pulled over twice for it, its a $90 ticket in Blue Earth county. Also they "give a shit" about every window, not just the front.

50% is the legal limit, any %age lower then that is illegal. I had 30% on mine, which was dark enough to get pulled over for. If you are going to be in Roch for the long run, I wouldnt worry too much about getting 25-35%, anything darker I would say is risking it.

Also you cant just keep paying tint tickets either, if you think that works, after my second ticket the trooper told me if I got pulled over a third time and still had the tint, the car would be impounded and I would be facing a felony or some shit like that because I wasn't obeying the law by not removing the tint.

Just gotta wiegh your options is all.

wow...i had 5 on the back windows of my civic and 15 on the front and they didn't pull me over in 5 months of owning the car...weird, usually they try to find something to pull you over with when you drive a red civic with no exhaust...and ya i know the smaller the number the darker it is...I've never had a problem in the roch/byron area but who knows, "just gotta weigh your options is all." good call...(the cop matters also, some are bigger dicks than others as I'm sure you know this, also there level of boredom at the time...)

If you have a van or truck you can tint the back passenger windows and rear window as dark as you want as long as the front windows and windshield are under the legal limit.

But in a car all windows have to comply with DA LAWZ!
