Keyless???

so i got my 96pgt almost 1 month ago now, and it came w/ a little "livewire alarm system" sticker on the driver and passenger window. now it did not come w/ a remote(keyless entry) all i got was 1 key.

my question is does anyone know if a 96pgt comes with a remote?

not sure where you'd find those numbers besides on the back of the original remote and YES key less entry was an option on the 96PGT, mine has it, (LOVE IT) anyways the name "livewire alarm system" doest appear anywhere on my car, Google it and see what you find, livewire might be a after market brand, another options crawl on your floor and look under the dash for something that looks after market...it might be a control box for a key less entry setup

because i've been on a lot more lately than normal I'm guessing I'm between 2 and 5 per day but cant tell when I'm logged in. Still no 15 per day.

dont know what that alarm is. But to check if youre car is already outfitted with hte keyless option, remove the passenger side rear pannel in the hatch, you are looking for a smalle white plastic connecter that is just hanging there. If you see this then you can just jumper that and get a new remote to learn the car. It is very easy, I'm affriad to say easy enough for you to figure out yourself but it is that damn easy.

That's what I have trying to make him do but it has put some life back into the board so its not a horrible thing.

thanks for the info tho gtcruiser. ill have to do that. and yea, im very new to the probe so i have alot of questions. and yes actually i did searsh for livewire and didnt get much. also i use google quite frequently
