you get them by the amount of posts you've had, no offense but yours is kinda a fake title considering you've just been posting a hundred posts a day...and had your car for a month. (admin, you get from being the administrator, Kirk i believe holds the title)

WE dont call you a moron for asking questions.

We WILL, however, agree if you call yourself a moron first.

THEN we will make fun of you mercilessly.

ok, when it comes to the headers. the rear side is a B****! do a test install to make sure your O2 sensor won't hit the steering rack like mine did. i had to cut out the O2 sensor and move it over to fix it. something you really don't want to do when you pay $500 for them. (hotshot) also. when you install them. you might want to use threadlock on the hardware while installing them. if you don't. will do what i am right now. my entire exhaust system is taken apart to find a nasty exhaust leak. it was the rear side. all the bolts and nuts came loose and burned right past the exhaust gasket. oh, and speaking of which. get good exhaust gaskets. i'm just now putting it back together today.

oh, one more thing. after the first few heat cycles. you might want to recheck the torque on the exhaust manifold bolts to make sure they didn't come loose and have the problem i did.

Only one way to learn buddy. When I first got on this site, I was the same as you. Barely knew how to change my own oil. But then I started to buy shit I thought was cool and before I knew it I could do most things automotive related.

And in this weather, if you dont have a heated garage its 20x longer to do, since you can only work on it for 5 minutes at a time before you have to run back in and warm up:lol:

haha yeah, no working on cars for me during the winter. I've been meaning to rotate my tires for 5k miles now. Minnesota winters are about sitting inside and getting fat.

speaking of oil changes anyone have problems running synthetic? i had amsoil 5-30 in my car when i got it but it got so thin when it was hot it burnt it like no tomorrow. i dumped it out and ran mobil clean 5000 and change it every 3000. any thoughts/opinions on synthetic or petroleum??
