Someone needs to take my 2nd Gen dyno crown from me! 160whp is the mark, now go smoke it!

Is that a stock record? or with mods? I feel im not getting the hp i should. Only one way to find out. Looking forward to a meet so we can check things out at the dyno place.

As far as I know, 160 is the highest dyno'd number out of a second gen from this site. Sure there are a few that would definitely beat that, but I haven't seen dyno numbers from those cars.

It was modded.

I would be interested in getting mine dyno'd if i end up getting it back in running shape.

isnt stock HP on a second gen like 160 i thought????

That's crank horsepower. There are drivetrain losses that makes you actually lose power when you measure power to the wheels. A stock 2nd gen Probe puts about 135hp to the front wheels. Mine put 160 to the front wheels.

ouch, i thought a v6 would pull higher numbers than that, a dam vtec civic pulls near that stock for WHP, a newer one anyways...cant believe i just said something about a dam rice burner on here...either way, the civic's i've raced, DOHC V-Tec i handed his ass...not much to be proud of there tho.

Yeah, that's becuase a newer Si civic has 200BHP. So if you take the drive train loss, you would end up with about 160whp.

Later!!?!? I hope you mean sooner. You guys should find a dyno that also does motor scooters. I'd love to see what My SV puts down.. And I won't have any mods done to the probe by the time this comes, i'll just have it running.

SlaveLabor

Yeah, you should. Your probe is going to be slow, since you are putting all your money into the bike now...

Its hard to find a dyno that does both bikes and cars. Its almost always one or the other.
