Yes, once again, its time for the "annual" dyno meet. Details are as follows:


Date: Saturday, May 3rd.

Time: 10am (They open at 9am, but I know in reality none of you will wake your ass up to get there by then:lol: :idea:

Basically, they are about a block off 169. they are in the back of the 1st main complex there. If you hit the train tracks on 13th, then you've missed thier enterance by about 20 ft:eek:

Price: Will be the same as last year; $50 for 3 pulls.

Frequently asked questions:

-Yes, they take cash or credit card for payment.
-Yes, alcohol is allowed, as long as you arent driving and are over 21.
-Yes, you can bring your lowered car and dyno it. Their dyno is built into the floor so there wont be any clearance issues. (If Ty could get his car on there, anyone can)
-Yes, they can dyno ATX cars also.
-No, I will probably not kill you if you show up 4hrs late.
-No, AWD cars cannot be dyno'd. 2WD only, sorry.
-Yes, you can come and watch and not dyno. Though you will be ridiculed:lol:
-Yes, this WILL take place, thru rain, slow, sleet, hail, etc...

Yeah, only in 1990 those were made. Not that the 3100's didnt have enough problems as is, but then they slapped a tubo on it. :idea: :bs: And it only came in an auto. Gay.

Probably why they were replaced in 91 by the N/a 3400 which made more HP without the turbo (Not that those motors are any more reliable)

Is anyone here looking for ANY parts off a 90 probe LX 3.0? I kinda drove into the ditch a few months ago..... Body is in good condition. Parting out the whole car from top to bottom. motor and tranny are still good. 120,000 on motor, and 30,000 on the tranny(manual). Any questions ask defiler, he knows all about the car. Hurry cause car is getting scrapped in a month or so!

^^Don't worry too much about the timing belt. If it snaps all it does is make the car not run. Its a non-interference engine and you won't break anything by snapping that belt. On the other hand... the water pump:Pissed: :Pissed: I hate water pumps

Just wanted to confirm that my buddy with the crx is 100% in, meanwhile I'm still not sure.

His car is kinda in between stages so it'll be interesting to see what he puts down for power. He has the engine built for turbo, but the turbo kit is missing a few components. We'll see if he gets them in time to dyno with the turbo. Otherwise we'll just see what a turbo Honda motor can put down N/A'.

Everybody, is the list still accurate? I'd like to know ASAP, cuz if it's not and we are going to be short of 10 cars, I need to know so I can pester a few more people that don't really want to go.

Yes meet at 10am. It will go till whenever you want to be there. Last year I think it went till 4pm, then 6-8 of us hit up Perkins up the road afterwards:thup:

We will start the dyno right around 1015, so if you want to watch all the cars, try and get there earlier.

I didn't. I didn't want to watch my brakes disintegrate again :lol:. I've been searching the bmw boards for last hour or so and I've only seen one other case where they had this problem... and nobody had an answer. Gay. I guess I'll just have to figure it out myself unless someone has dealt with this problem before.

Although I just heard from a guy about what he thinks. I dunno whether its true or not. I'm not sure if I did it this way or not since I usually don't do it, but if you hold the ASC button for an extended period of time I guess that puts the car into "snow hill climb" mode. I don't really expect Mitch to remember since I don't even remember myself:lol:. I hope that's not what I did but I don't think so. Ghey
