Hell yeah! Check out the bodykit I installed today:D I call it the Infiniti G35 Coupe! It comes with a new body, motor, and interior:p That's right boys and girl. I've officially moved on to a bigger and better ride;) It's a 2006 6 speed manual. That 6th gear is nice for freeway cruising-At 60 I was only just above 2000 rpm! Here are some pics but I'm going out to enjoy her so I'll post some later.

No eclipse. I believe that Lancimus has the eclipse. I've owned 3 Probes and a Cavalier prior to this baby. This buy has been in the works for the past week but as I mentioned in iaminsder's thread, I didn't want to jinx myself by saying what I was trying to get until I finally getted it:tup:

Damn this bitch pulls pretty good though. The initial launch is nothing to brag about (the redesign on the revup version of the VQ engine lost some low end torque but has a higher redline and more HP) but it's definitely fun to drive. My problem will be keeping it under speed limit and not because I want to go fast but because you don't even realize how fast you're going when you're just cruising in 6th. When I passed a cop on 94 who had pulled over a rx7, I looked at my speedo and saw that I was doing almost 80 in a 55:eek:

The clutch play is definitely going to need some getting used to because I have been driving the worst manual setup in existence (Z24 cavalier) up to this point. Got the bi-xenon HID projector lights that are bright as a mofo at night and the 19 inch forged rims too.

Nice! Hell yeah man... Seems like everyone is moving on lately

I think that it's just a matter of time because even the newest probes are showing their age now. I still have my probe though and still plan on finishing her up with the stuff that I already have bought but have been too lazy to put on. The probe will always have a special place in my heart :'-l

I have had the tC a lil over a week now and I am still getting used to the drive by wire throttle.

I guess I have that too. It did feel a little weird and different how it accelerates but I'll get used to it.

"The foundation for all models is the G35’s standard 3.5-liter DOHC 24-valve V6 engine,...producing 298 horsepower on the G35 Coupe 6MT. The advanced engine design, part of the award-winning VQ engine series, includes a long list of advanced systems, including a continuously variable valve timing control system, a “noiseless” timing chain for silent operation, a structurally reinforced aluminum engine block and an electronically controlled “drive-by-wire” throttle system."

Yea just about all new cars (04 and up I believe) are drive by wire. It def. takes different timing between clutch and gas. Another thing I'm sure you have is coil over plug. No more cap, rotor or plug wires! Oh and timing chains. No more worrying about that annoying 80k mile timing belt change.

Very nice. Only thing I'll "comment" on is that the coupes look fugly without a spoiler. That is all.

So what did you end up doing with your Probe?

So you gonna show up at the dyno meet and show off the new ride?

I don't know about "fugly", but they definitely look better with a spoiler. The only thing is I'm not sure of is if I should go with the oem style for the 03-05 or 06-07 model. I'm still a toss up on the dyno meet. I have 2 other commitments that day, so I'm not sure if I can find the time...but If so, I might just swing by and see what's up. I should have a better idea the week prior. BTW, I still have the Probe.

Damn, I figured out why I didn't think the launch was anything to brag about...I didn't have the VDC (vehicle dynamic control) turned off:p When it's off, this thing is a beast and you can whip shitties and fishtails with little effort. The VDC prevents you from losing control of the car by limiting the amount of torque to the wheels which is  when you want to have a little fun.

eh, it's ok. Maybe a ride at the dyno meet would change my mind.

at 60 in 5th my ranger is pushing anywhere from 2800 to 3300 depending on the temperature outside...it runs amazingly better cold.

298. I'm probably just going to do mild mods at this point. Since I bought an extended warranty till 100,000 miles, chances are small that I will do anything really major to up the HP-or void the warranty. I'll probably do CAI and possibly dyno tune it and that's it. I'm looking at getting the Nismo front for this and probably going with the 03-05 style spoiler and maybe a 1" drop. It would probably look similar to this setup:
