I used to have the stock chameleon color on my 95 gt. Light purple to blue and some green...
Mine had no metal flake in it so maybe we're talking different colors.
I have never ever saw the color I had in person (except my own car).

rio red is probably the most common one
but yah, this color of the car was outstanding and so complex for a factory color!!!!!
i will ask at the paint store and see if i can get a name and color code for further information.
i would say there is more metal flake then there is color.
very similar to the kinds of patterns they use on ranger bass fishing boats

Only rare, and one of the very few decent color on the 2g's, is Tangerine Frost.

boysenberry, timberline, and the three classic colors (white/red/blue) are by far my favorites.
I LOVE white cars, so classy when clean

You mean the whole 3 days a year they're clean?
I love how white and black cars look, but its just too much of a hassle to keep clean. I'll stick with blue cars from now on:thup:

I actually used to know the paint chemist that invented that color for Ford. She owned the very first probe that rolled off of the line with that color. It was an awesome color. Wish I could get ahold of the paint code for that, as I might be willing to repaint my car complete if I could obtain it. I don;t think that anyone can even make it anymore. I know that they kept the trade secret for it under wraps pretty tightly. Not sure if they ever released the original makeup either.

oh i am pretty sure they make that color for purchase.
visit the auto center parts store in waconia, they specialize in PPG paints and have a mixing station on site.
when he pulls out the color selection book, your jaw will drop and it will be drooling.
