anyone have a suggestion for a good 1/2" impact wrench for weekly use. i don't work every day.
i was thinking the ingersoll rand thundergun or similar.
anyone know of some inexpensive good impact guns? some of mine are ready for the trash. probably 4 of them actually

I've got a Dewalt electric one which is ok but not great, I'm assuming you're looking for air though

yep i need air impact wrenches
they are all top name ones but they are so old now and used so much that you can tell they are not very efficient any more.

I have an IR and it's great. I got it from Sears and have never had a gun so powerful. The only thing I would recommend is make sure you have good impact sockets and that you be VERY careful when you put it on something as it can throw a bolt/nut across the garage REAL quick..

its probably the IR titanium series. they are good, my dad has a 1/2" and a 3/8" he uses at work. they are terribly expensive but they do work like none other!
i am probably gonna go with a cornwell twin hammer style. the one that does 625ft lbs. i think its only like $179
