Beer will be provided to whoever wants to help. You can even take home whats left over of the beer since I drink liquor. :) I think I talked to tony a while back about borrowing a cherry picker. I have only standard tool set so if we need any specialty tools then I would have to purchase, or hope someone would be able to bring with for the day.

Everything is off the car, except the long block. There is no manifolds or exhaust. Nothing really to get in the way. I just dont know how to disconnect from the axle's as I have never pulled a motor before.

Anyone interested in helping me out I would greatly appreciate it!

Location is NW of Minneapolis about 10 mins on 94.

Also if anyone is interested in some parts I have quite a bit of stuff left over from the mx6 part out. Let me know if you need anything.

Thanks

Sorry but all I'd be good for is moral support. At least you've got the hoist ready to go!

^^Dont worry, I have it under control. I dont need some fool that doesnt know what he's doing getting in my way. It's going to take me an hour tops to get this motor removed myself (without air tools)

Seems to be the general concensus that noone here likes to drink beer

Since I am not active its hard to tell, but im thinking tony's stab had a bit of sarcasm in the tone  Come if you want, it shouldn't be a huge job since its just drain the coolant, 2 motor mounts, and disconnect the axles. :)

No sarcasm, just bitter disgust.

Got the hoist and tools loaded into the 'Scort tonight. You'd better be there at 6, since I couldnt confirm today (phone, batter, ahem:lol: )

Yeah, my battery died on the way home and I left both my chargers at work since I rode the bike. :(

I havent drained the coolant yet, but I plan to take care of that tomorrow before you get here if I have time. I will be home before 6. Usually around 4:30 to 5:00 if you want to come sooner.

Only issues were the control arm bolts and motor mount bolts... sucks taking them off with no breaker bar:(
