Ok here is the deal. Most of us have had a probe at one time or still do. We need to have another meet before we put our summer cars away. (Mitch: jim) lol. But yea. I still have not met everybody and I really liked the last meet I went to. I was unable to attend the last MOA meet because I blew my engine on the way to the meet. I am a car enthusiast and I love cars. I'm sure most all of u guys and girls do too. I thinl we should have some kind of meet in like a parking lot or some shit like that and just like grill out. I'm in college right now and am majoring in automotive engineering technology.
Point is, DAMMIT let's have a meet!!! Everybody start throwing out dates and we will figure something out.
I will start out.
I'm free pretty much any friday saturday and sunday. Let's do it!!

I'm the coolest. Only the cool kids come to meets, so that leaves only me, Ryan, and Mitch as the cool people, since we're the only 3 who show up for every meet.
As for the 2nd half, quit your bitching and man up. There's kids that come from Rochester for fuck's sake for these meets, and the "couple" of guys that live by you also manage to make it there.
Id be down for another MoA meet, but Id like to have something afterwards set up this time, like golf, minigolf, or something... (I know a lot of people now are stuck playing fag golf... errr... frisbee golf, maybe thatd be an option)

i just sold my other car today so i think later on next week ill be starting on the probe, or maybe a little later. but i do wanna have it ready for the meet.
if not ill be rockin the eclipse haha, but im only open on sundays also, unless its like ofter 1 or 2 on satuday

I have a cabin. It is in mankato. There is a lake and we got a pontoon. I will have to talk to my grandparents about it; as they own the place.
Also, its not like this meet has to be tommorrow. And its not like we all have to drive probes. Just that we are there in person and can share our past experiences and other shizzz.

Haha... well..... As of right now the camaro's out of service for the year. On the way home from downtown tonight the clutch went out. Well atleast I hope and think it was just the clutch.:confused: :confused: Just driving along, try to down shift and I can't find the gear... then BAM and then any gear I put it in and it will just rev out to the rev limiter with out moving the car. :(
Hope to have the garage remodeled by tomorrow and get to tearing it down on sunday. :(

Ive never had issues with either the Maple Grove or MoA Famous Daves, other than the fact the last time we were there the 2 servers had a hard time keeping up with everything.
There's really nothing else at the mall, other than the Rainforest Cafe, maybe Ruby Tuesday's. The food at Hooters and Tuci sucks, and the good Planet hollywood hasnt been there for years....

The worst Hooters that I've ever been to was in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.

I tried to pull the half shaft out by separating the ball joint. It would not budge at all, so I gave up. I took it to aamco after that, so they are the ones that put it in. Did they do something wrong?
And a CV axle socket... and a gear wrench (or swivel)... and an alignment tool... and a flywheel removal tool (just to hold the PP so it doesnt move, although some can do it without anything)...

sorry i ment 32 for the cv axel, gear wrench (swivel) for??? dont need a alignment tool because they ussually come in the kit, and to get the flywheel and pressure plate off you use a screw driver though one of the trans to motor bolt holes and a prybar stuck in the ring gear teeth,,(proping the brybar against the screwdriver to loosen the pp or flywheel bolts) but you might need someone to hold it for ya.
kirk, no nothing was wrong,, i just thougth you did it, the drivers side cv axel is the hardest one to get out.. if you can get them out in one try you would be considered a magician in my book.. lol

if we were (which we were) talking about manual transmissions, you need a clutch assembly alignment peg when swaping clutches or the transmissions.

i called natco today and they said it would be 950 bucks to rebuild there just as long as the cases were good it would be more if they were bad,
then kenedy said it would cost 150 bucks just to split the case and see what is wrong with it, parts and labor are more after that. but anyways
i think ill ask like 650 ounce im done with it.

mitch, the trans is coming together very well, just got done measuring rotating torque, and endplay on the diff, primary and secondary shafts.
just need to finish installing the fifth gear section and it will be done.

why not attempt to rebuild it yourself and if you don't know about something, ask him or take it to him. a schematic is very useful too
Dave, he IS building it himself. He's just letting Mitch know because Mitch might be interested in buying it when it's done to put in his car.

*update*
mitch, the trans is coming together very well, just got done measuring rotating torque, and endplay on the diff, primary and secondary shafts.
just need to finish installing the fifth gear section and it will be done.

Sounds good man. I will have to think about the price, its hard to think about spending that much on a trans when i could find one for about 100 bucks. Though it would be nice to have a fresh one. I will think about it, and let you know.

yea i see, but yes fresh, puurdy and you could even paint it or powder coat it or clear it so it stays clean forever,

I did read it all. i thought he said he removed it from his car and was pricing how much money it would cost to get the transmission rebuilt. then someone chimed in and said he could do it for $6??.........

As much as I like that album, I think people only like most of the songs because they've been played so much and theyre used to them.
I think In Utero was a much better album overall.

My Daily Driver Is a 93 Pontiac Grand Prix SE (Great Prick (PO)SEdition I Call It) The Struts Are Shot, The Shocks Are Shot, Last Year I Wetn Over 8000 MIles Without A Drop Of Oil In The Eingine, It Siezed On Me At Least Twice A Day, And At The Last 2000 Miles Of That Issue I Ran Out Of Transmission Fluid (But I Was Broke And Could Bearly Even Afford Gas Much Less Oil And Tranny Fluid...) Ok Thats My History Of My Car Eventually I Got Oil And Tranny Fluid In There Everything Else On Th Car Is Still Falling Apart. And Comming Home From Work I Picked My G/F Up In Woodbury And Were On Radio/Inwood Going Back To My House In Oakdale. Anyways An F150 Pick-Up Pulls Next To Me A Couple Stoplights Before The Road Turns Into A One Lane, And He Revs His Engine And Is Starting At My G/F... I Laugh Cuz I know My Car Is A POS But I've Raced My Friends With It Before It Started Braking So I KNow What Its Capable Of. Then The Light Turns Green And I Start Off at 3000 RPMs So I Don't Blow Anything And I'm Already Ahead Of Him. Then I Think He Floored It And Was Catching Up On My Left So I'm Like... Fuck It Lets Do This And I Finally Actually Floor It And Jus Get Head Of Him, Turn On My Blinker And Mirge Into The Single Lane And Slow Down To 40 In A 55 And Its A No Passing Zone lol So Yea I'm An Asshole But It Was Fun And Thats My Story
