Im storing my car for the winter, and I was wondering if anyone would have any tips on some ways to keep my car in good shape while it sits for six months. I heard I should have the car on jack stands, now is this realy important? And should I add any fuel stabalizer. And as far as the engine goes, its not that important because the KL-ZE is going in (ha,ha,ha,ha, ) if theres anything anyone recomends, let me know thanks.

get some fuel stabilizer if you want. it should hurt. i'd still run the engine down as low as you can be for storing. i've never put mine on stands but i've always made sure my air pressure was high and i would visit and move the car every month. because i was starting it every few weeks, i never really winterized it either... do some news group searches and see what some people that store their classics do before winter...

I stored my car last winter and didnt move it once!!! Bad gas and flat spots on the tires, black smoke upon startup, rusted tranny parts. I suggest moving it more than 15 feet (at the least) every month. Make sure to wash it before storage. Shit, wash it twice underneath.
