Need some help

Lately driving my 95 pgt, I started to hear a clicking almost clanking sound coming from the back of the car. For a while I thought it was the spare tire moving around but I checked and found that it was fully secure. Until just recently I didn't hear the noise, but now it won't go away. I decided to look for the problem and I found that when I push down on the rear passenger side of the car it makes a clicking sound. I can't really tell if it's coming from the shock or from under the car. I'm thinking that the strut is worn out, but I could really use some ideas. What do you guys think it could be?

I'm not completely sure if it's the same thing but I had a Prelude that had a clicking sound coming from the front passenger suspension. It turned out to be a broken spring. The coil had broken near the top and the two peices were clicking against each other whenever the suspension was compressed even a little.

Just a suggestion. Let us know what you find.

there are some bearing plates above the struts where they mount to the body. When they wear out they make a clicking sound:shrug:
