Touchup Paint

When I bought my car it had already been re-painted. The sticker on the driver door panel doesn't look like a ford sticker at all, it even has another company's name on it plus all my car's info. It says that my exterior color is "T22". Everywhere I go, there isn't a T22 listed under Ford colors. It looks a lot like a "Rio Red". Does anybody know of a place that I can just tell them to make me up a bottle of some T22? Or is there a place that I can actually take my car and have them put a sensor or something on the paint and get a paint code? I have a couple tiny pebble chips that I dont want to see any more. :help:

Its not a Ford color (that I know of) i'll probably try a body shop. I just remembered my friend re-painted his front bumper on his rx-7. i'll find out what he did.

I like the auto parts store idea. I painted an old Jetta like, wow - over 10 years ago I guess. I got everything from a parts store, they mixed up the paint. Some PPG brand name color from a giant chart they had.

Basically - the paint guy there should be able to tell you what it is, if they can make a tiny container of it or not, or if it's an off-the shelf-color you can get for cheaper.

A lot of times the shop doing the painting should give you the left over to do touch ups with, but I suppose it's too late for that...

My friend is gonna make me a small bottle of it and bring to school tomorrow. Hopefully it matches, he said he could do it with the "t22" paint code
