View Full Version : Wuts Wrong Wit MY Lights???

allo! I've recently purchased a 94 Probe GT, very nice! Had to drop a new clutch and flywheel in there but hey! It's way nicer than the Ford Tauraus i used to put around in... Anyway! The lights of my car suddenly won't go back in their homes! They turn off, but don't slide down...how can i fix this?! I like the sleekness of the car when their down during the day :( help me out!!!

Check the "retra" fuse under the hood first and if thats not it there may be a relay of some kind that went bad.

Does it have one of the switches in the center console for keeping them up? If so, is it pushed in?

Do they start to go down, but then pop back up? I wouldn't know if that would happen, but if it does, have someone else hit the switch fer ya and peep it out from up front.

Otherwise, listen for the headlight motor to see if it is even running when you hit the switch.

i have a friend who has a 94 se.. and his did the same thing.. still cant figure out whats wrong.. he checked the retra... no high beam... low beam works... but he gave up looking for it and now his se is forsale with a brand new transmission and his parents bought him a 2002 ford 150 crew cab...

if it's not the retra fuse i wouldn't know, :wtf: then again i never figured out my dimmer...then again i didn't really try

hey tony...if u sell ur car can i have ur dimmer switch?

haha.. turns out.. it is a 93.. im a douche sorry... yea i guess when i let my brother drive it he switched it...thanks for the insight :-p anyone know exactly what site will give me the best online prices for tricking this 93 GT out?
