Hey Newbie here

Hey I bought a 1990 Probe GL in december from Morries Minnetonka Ford (NEVER GO THERE THEY ARE THE DEVIL!) I am also located in the metro area (Minnetonka). i am in love with this car! i have added a new stereo and looking to do more... My frist problem is i know i need a new alternator My car is Screaming and making high pitch sounds like the belt is bad but i just replaced the belt! I need some help on that..... ANd i was wondering where to start with making my car as nice and as cool as possable? Thanks! :tup:

well start out by searching the pic post for 1st gens on PT and go from there

yeah, see what others have done w/those cars...

what kind of shape is the car in??? being 11 years old and all... did the previous owner keep it looking pretty good???

anyway, i would first make sure that the belt is good and tight... if it is, it would probably be a good idea to have your electical system checked out (mainly your altenator)... i know the checker auto here in wbl does that.. check w/your local parts store and go from there...
