I'm looking for an Athlon motherboard with a KT133A chipset. Preferably an ATX form factor.
Anyone know where I can get one cheap? Like $50 or less?
Tracer? You always seem to have computer parts... :D

Nope - I pretty much sold everything I had.
Why a 133A specifically?
You might check www.newegg.com , they have a "refurbished" section that has a bunch of stuff in that price range... might even find a new one there too.

Because it's one of the better/best chipsets for Athlons that use PC133 mem. That mem sound familiar?
I want to upgrade my processor for my good comp and pass my 1.4 athlon to my other comp, but I need a board for it. Right now it's a celeron 300A in there.

Hmm. If you have a 1.4 Athlon, you do realize it will cost a lot to not get so much more performance? Even an XP2100 at about $100, plus the new board for about the same, will only sit you at about 1.75 GHz as opposed to the 1.4 you're at now.
But you seem to know what you want, so if that becomes your old machine and you build a new one - well, I hate to say it, but that PC133 should go in with the 1.4 Athlon you have. Whatever you get that's new should have DDR RAM put into it.
That's my opinion anyways, if I'm understanding you right...

Actually, what I was thinking is this:
I have a 1.4ghz now with an ABIT KG7 MB w/ 512meg of PC2100 DDR. I also have an old celeron 300A w/128meg of pc133 ram. I want a new KT133A board for my 1.4 and the 384meg of ram(256meg of mem from you). Then get an XP2100 for my current comp. Not a lot of increase, but I want another comparable comp for my gf to surf the net and play her games(we live together).

Cool, that makes total sense then.

Top one is $45. Not fancy, but has AGP, several PCI's, USB, built-in sound, etc.
