Well, after driving it for a couple of months, all the noise I had in my front end seems to have dissappeared. The bushings up there must have loosened up a bit after sitting outside all winter.
I still have a nasty clank in my rear end though. So, today I called the nissan dealer and ordered up a pair of sway bar endlinks for a 95 altima. They won't get here till Tuesday, but I'll be installing them, and my new PT Sway bar from VDubb as soon as they do. (weather providing).
Damnit, now I need to go buy a half-ass jack and some jack stands, not to mention a work light.

Are the Altima ones are as strong?

They're reputedly stronger than the stock ones. Actually I bet alot of vehicles use the exact same part. If you crawl under your car and look at the suspension and how the endlink fits into the equation, then you'll see there is alot of potential for universal application of this component

There are a lot of universal ones, I got my replacements from some kind of Summit best buy, before the Altimas came out even, I think. I'd bet the endlinks from about 20 other cars would be a good match as well, it's just that the Altima part numbers are well known now.
Heh, you're going to like that bigger sway bar. Just make sure to rough up and well lube the bushings or it'll squeak like a, well, a lot.

Wow, for your old ones, I have one word: "Dremel". Oh yeah, with a cut-off tip. Just destroy the nuts on the ends, since it's all getting replaced anyway. Took me about 15 minutes, I think (that's how I remember it anyways!). The old ones, at this point are pretty much fused together into one piece of metal. That's why everyone suggests new endlinks - it's because you have to practically destroy the old ones to get them off.

Yeah, I was thinking about torching the bastards off.... But, Of Course, I have none of the appropriate tools.
You can't do shit with a socket set....

*whore*
You know, I think we need to invest in a MNPOC tool set...designate someone with a garage to be the holder of the tools...and then we can all use them whenever we need to. The same crap happened when I wanted to do my brakes...I have ZERO tools for such things...
