Whats Wrong?!

:help: last week i was at a stop light when my car died....took it in and $75 it was nothing. so this "nothing" has happened twice since then and this is the first time it has happened........any advice will be a big help!

If you had a V6 I would say distributor, otherwise I would have to go along with the clueless mechanic and say its "nothing" :p I would check out the air and fuel filters though.

Could be bad plugs or wires too.

i doubt that the plugs or wires would cause something like this...

my vote goes w/eric on distributor. i've also seen ecm (emmision control modules) cause this as well except i think that will only be found on older cars (pre 89).

the tempature gauge went out so it wasnt turning on my eletrical fan to cool down my engine:rolleyes: but on the good side i went back to midas and got my money back:thup:

is it idling really low before it kills? my 93 base atx did that and i had to throw it in neutral all the time :tdown:

i have an eletric fan motor and the theromostat is broken so it wasnt turning on the fan to cool my car down so it would over heat and die....now we need to find a new eletric thermo:Pissed:
