Well, last Sunday, we at IPOC were going to go to the track. Well, turns out that the track couldn't get an ambulance lined up, so they just decided to cancel the test and tune day. So, a few of us got together, and had a little meet, and snapped a few pics.

Sorry I missed the meet. It kinda died on IPOC I guess. I was originally planning on coming and everything, but I guess no one mentioned it after the first couple weeks. Keep me posted though, and I'll see if I can show up once and again.

we have one of those. It's really cool. It can be a refigerator or keep things warm as a heater.

For some reason, Dan's LOOKS deceptively shinier, however, in real life, we've all agreed that mine takes the cake. :D
Mmmmmm... cake
On a side note, I think we can all agree that IPOC is home to some of the more blingin' ZE's out there.

how do you get them so shiny?!?

Well, we both took basically the same route, I just went a few steps further.
I started out by using those sanding wheels for drills that you can get at hardware stores. Those took it down like Butta'! I started with 80 grit, then 180, and then I used a bit that had scotch brite pads in it. Then, I did 200, then 400, then 600, then 600 wet, 800, 800 wet, 1000, 1000 wet, 1500, 1500 wet, then i used metal polish, and also went over it with a buffer. Before its all said and done, I'm going to go over it again with some 3000 and 3000 wet, then have it buffed again. Its not as good looking yet as I would like it to be.
I THINK that dan stopped at 1000 wet, and also, I used an orbital buffer (my cousin works at a body shop) and so I kinda got an edge there. :D

wow thats a lot of work. I've heard of people doing that on rims too.

Yeah, I've actually started on the wheel process. I wanted to finish the mani before I got into anything else though. Hopefully in a few weeks, the wheels will shine like that too.
