but i got a question, and it sorta sounds dumb...but how can i install these with the factory wires that are still in place in my front bumper? should i just clip off that little connector thing and put the wires on the new foggies right on those? i hope so cuz i dont want to wire these...so help me out here

yea, just clip off the black plugs and either solder the connections, or use a wire tap. Just make sure these arnt 100w or somthing that will melt the stock wiring

I don't like when people replace the stock fogs with thinner (horizontally) ones. It doesn't look good in my opinion.

You can run power off your battery with an inline fuse, acessory wire, and ground.... all going to an aftermarket switch.. Then you can turn then on whenever your battery isn't dead.
I took out my change holder and replaced it with a mudflap, then cut a hole to fit an aftermarket switch which i paid 12 dollars for, but it has one of the brightest blue leds i have ever seen.
I am hoping to line up some other ones next to it so it wont be all alone... That wont happen till i get some more lights however... (neons) :D

Nate /\ DONT DO THIS!!!....There is a much better way. Follow this link to the Fog Light Mod How To. (http://www.geocities.com/MotorCity/5335/foglamps.htm) This utilizes the stock wiring and allows you to have your fog light on without your headlamps. I used this page to do mine. I't about as good as it gets.

Why wire in different wires and a different switch if the car comes with the equipment necessary from the factory?

I dont know. Maybe if i removed my stocks i would think about it, but since my stocks are still on my ride as well as aftermarkets i had to get another switch.

So you have 4 fog lights

Yes, but i never have either set on.
I have hyperwhite bulbs in my stocks, but when i changed them they were so rusty that i barely got them back together and i feared taking them apart again. One of the connections is not full so one is brighter than the other.
So i went out and bought driving lights... but they are to bright and i worry if i pass a cop he will pull me over.
So unless i am on a country drive or interstate at night they are off.
All four of them will be gone when i get a kit which ill say is about 1 yr away maybe sooner...
so why waste money and fines from cops and just not add foggies if ya getting a kit... ?
:wtf:

There will be no fogs when i get a kit.
I always liked fog lights, and when i bought the driving lights to "replace" the stocks i did not realize they were so bright.. I still like them for out in the country and interstate. I would still stay i use them.... just not to get peoples attention....
Right, that is what they are supposed to be used for, to light up the road. Not to get people to look at you.
They are a temporary fix for now and they were like 20 bones at Wal mart. CyberWhite brand...

fog lights don't help me see anything any better...They are just for looks to me.

Well for some people they are for looks. Not for me.
When driving at night, if i hit my driving lights on, Then roadsigns and anything else becomes twice as reflective. Plus if i have my driving lights on and i turn my headlights off i can still see just fine.
IOW my drivers are very bright, and they help me see. Weather i have headlights on or off.
I know where you're coming from with wanting the look of fogs.. I used to feel the same way. I would ALWAYS have them on just for looks. Now they are never on.....
