Thats a lot of lbs. How did rear seat belt brackets save much weight?

I never had the spare or tire jack in my car for weight reasons.

The only thing left to remove is the passenger seat! I've already ditched everything And I had to give the president of the bank a ride across town yesterday. That was pretty funny.

We pulled up next to someone he knew.... And the guy was like, "What are you two doing, dragging broadway?" And Tim (president) was like yeah, but I think you would beat us. (the guy was in a Grand Am GT.) I looked over and was like, "uh, no, I don't think so..." I would have raced the guy right there with Tim in the car, but the guy in the Grand Am totally Pussed out. Well, he was like 50.

SPLAT The flat floor mod and all the interior parts are yours if you want them. I might throw them away when I move....unless you or somebody says something.

Sweet Dude!!! You should take all the stereo equipment out too. You can't really hear the stereo at 7,000 rpm anyway. ;) And even if you could, who would want to drown out the wonderful song of the engine??

not to be a negative nelly, but if you really want to do a weight reduction christian, you should just pull out your seats and put down some indoor/outdoor carpet. its a lot lighter than the flat floor, and still looks respectable. but i have seen nicks floor and it is well done.

Just curious--are those racing seats just for more support or are they for weight reduction as well?

Yeah, the flat floor I made isn't any lighter than the stock seats. I might weight more., but, it does look decent and if you want to show off your subs, it is the hot ticket.

I'm pretty busy this week Christian, with the house and stuff. But if you wanna stop by next week or next weekend, we can work on it then.
