I was looking on Cardomain.com yesterday and i came across an idea for a Euro Tailight conversion, i emailed the guy who owns a 2nd gen GT who used this mod for his Probe and i was gonna ask him how he went about doing this. But chances are he wont email me back, But here's a pic on what i'am talking about and maybey you guys know how this is done.;)

wow thats super cool dude! I bet you'll beat all those ricers with that. Shit...they won't even want to race you. They'll know right off the bat you have an OBX muffler and an iceman intake.

I think it was pretty clear...Kirk hates anything that changes the look of the probe...yup, sober methinks.

I was trying to find a pic for everyone to see...but couldn't.
They look like tails from a 96, but each section is tinted a slightly different color...they are different, and I guess maybe that's why I like 'em.

I thought clear taillights looked good on that one white Probe in a similar post about a year and a half ago.

but as far as the tailights i have done this mod to clear the corners and etc, i have a buddy that said he can do the tail lights but it takes some time!

yeah those orange turn signal tail lights are to conform to the laws in certain european countries. There are no reverse lights, but it looks like there is one. That is a rear fog light, not a reverse light. the front corner lights are also clear in europe.

those tailights look okay, i dont think i would ever put them on my probe...well a probe. but it is different.

Anyways, it wouldn't look bad if it were clear lenses with black inserts...like on 03+ Eclipses.

No Curt when it comes to Sadie you can say whatever you think, just last night i was thinking the same thing maybey i'll go with a J-spec set, i guess your right maybey the clear tails on a yellow car would look funny.:thup:
or i might just get some used factory lenses and Paimt the Sadie design on them, or i'll paint them yellow, much like the Skyline from 2fast.;)

Wouldnt the Euro tails be illegal here in the U.S.? Also.. our Probes probably have a completely different rear lighting wiring scheme than the Euro ones so some of our lights might not even fit in the tails.
I really don't mean to change the subject but this is the only place it should be... Happy daylight savings day! Hows the forum going to take this? I'm posting 58 minutes after Kirk but it's recorded as before :lol:
