I could make a really cool story out of this and make it all dramatic but I will just come out and tell you flat out...
DON'T LET YOUR MOMs DRIVE OVER YOUR PIONEER STEREO FACE AND TOTALLY RUIN IT BECAUSE A NEW ONE IS $105!!!!
Yeah, she did, I got pissed, but she paid for a new one (of course!)

Yeah they charge a ton of money for those things. Probably because people may have stolen one without a faceplate. It would be stupid if the faceplates were cheap. Or did you have to send in your broken one?

I didn't ask if I could get a discount if I had the broken one, I asked the guy at best buy what to do and he said to call 1-800-PIONEER and just order a new one, but to be aware because they are expensive so I assumed that they don't care if it was actually broken and you didn't just steal a stereo. I think I will call and ask anyways...
