I'm just wondering what those of you with the multi-cd changers think of them. I have a pioneer deck and it gets to be a pain to change cd's when i'm driving down the highway.

Yeah MN Probe GT, I know about your damn minidisk changer :D I used to have a minidisk player/recorder and I eventually just bought a cd burner when I saw MD's werent going anywhere. I sold it to some sucker in the Phillipinnes for $200. I bought it 3 years ago for $220. He also ended up paying $100 to FedEx it down there. So he payed $300 for the damn thing!

I'm looking at this one on eBay. I'll bid on it right b4 it ends. Hopefully the other guy's proxy bid isn't too high.

Do you think this 6 disc one is fine or should I look for a 12?

You know what I have eric? an MD changer......:D
I like it because it's small. And I don't really need more than the 7 hours or so that it has. But I've gotten interested in MP3 players in the car.......nearly unlimited storage space.....

Yeah, as long as its a pioneer a 6 or 12 will work on my deck. the only thing is that I can find inexpensive but decent 6 disk changers but when I look for a decent 12 disk changer on ebay, they are around $200 which is money I dont want to spend on a changer (unless you guys want to chip in!) How much could I get a pioneer 12 disc changer for at BB with one of your guys discounts? 6-disc w/ discount?

well, I won the auction that I posted above. Now why the hell wont this guy email me about it! I want my damn cd changer

I guess I should give him more than 5 hrs after the auction ended. :D $61+Actual Shipping is pretty good for a new pioneer 6-disc changer, isn't it?

yeah, that's not bad... does it interface w/your deck???

it should. my deck had that weird looking plug in the back for a cd changer and this changer holds cd titles for on the display of the deck so I assume it will. If it doesn't, i'll just put it back on eBay and probably get more that I payed for it! :D

He wants $15 for shipping. In the page for the changer, it says "buyer pays actual shipping". Should I get him for this and tell him to go find out how much it will actually cost (should be hella cheaper, like $5) or give him the $15 cause im getting a good deal?

i think that i would just cover the $15 just to make up for the PITA of boxing it and sending it off...

They usually don't know how much it costs to ship it, so they just ask for an even number which will hopfully cover it.

if you have sold on ebay, you know that you can choose between fixed shipping costs and actual shipping costs. he put actual.

i sent out $76 today certified mail so hopefully I get something back. :D

Well my cd changer finally came minus a $40 cable that goes to the cd deck :Pissed: So I emailed the guy and he claims that the changer does not come with one, yeah right. So I went and mounted the changer and am waiting for the harness to come.

Thanks Jeremy for the advise on where to mount it. I barely got it in there above the Subwoofer. I was going to pull the subwoofer out of there but it looked like crap so I had to improvise. I ended up modifying the mounting brakets for the changer a little and here's the pics.

Now all i need is to run the wire from the cd deck to the back when the damn thing comes from Pioneer
