affordable stainless steel headers

I bought a set of these for my mx3. Not too bad for the price. The ad says that they are OBX but they are LIKE obx.

I've been looking at those here and there but haven't heard anyone mention anything about gains/fitment yeat so I haven't gotten any...

I just got them this past week.
there are a few people on mx3.com that have installed them and noticed a decent improvement.
they are the pacesetter/obx design made by ssautochrome

My Pacesetters SUCKED to install. Had to weld a 1" spacer in the collector to get it off my oil pan. Most arent that bad. The upside is most of them ahve dyno proven gains of 5-10hp. I couldnt tell you if I felt a difference cause I had a flywheel, exhaust, UDP installed at the same time. Most people feel decent gains from them though.

for my car I need to lower my crossmember and move cat back about 8-12 inches

Those headers are awesome, plus they look like they are the 4 to 1 headers, which is better than the 4 to 2 to 1 headers. I think you would get good gain from them even though they are not name brand. Unless you consider ssautochrome a name brand. ;)
Plus sometimes you don't get gains from namebrands so whatever. I just contradicted myself. Thats right :lol:

I think i am goin to look into getting a set for my six.

These Headers are Great for performance gains but suck for installation.
Performance +'s
-------------------------------
1. 1 5/8" primaries (largest on the market for the KL engine)
2. 2 1/2" piping at collector
3. stainless steel
4. Highest flowing headers for the KL series engine
5. Thick flanges
6. High quality gaskets
7. Very nice welds and descent port job
8. Very affordable price even with customizing needed to work


Negatives
------------------------------
1. EGR and O2 sensors bungs are switched around and must be rewelded or new EGR tube and custom bent. (really pisses you off)
2. slip joint fitting (should be cut out and add a flex tube)


Positives do overcome the negatives but the negatives still pisss you off. I forgot to mention that these make the car sound mean as hell.
