What is everyones opinion on removing the molding strips on the outside of the door? My car is going back into the body shop for what i am hoping is the last time! It'll be the last amount of money i'll be spending out of my own pocket on the exterior of the car anyway.
But back on the subject. I think my car would look smoother without the strips of door molding? I just want some other opinions. Let me know what you think.

yes take them off, i mine off the 2nd day of having my car, it does make the car look alot smoother, but there are times you'd wish they were still on like i did when people are stupid and open there doors right into your car!! but it will look smooth.

I did the same thing...at about the same point of ownership...I love it...except for the door-dings.

Well i think i'm gonna go for it and get them taken off. Are there holes that hold them into place or is it just adhesive?

Yup...just like 3m tape. You may want to get out a hair dryer or something to heat it up...and some adhesive remover that won't harm paint/clear coat.

I don't really like the look with them removed, but, that's me.

Well.......I decided to just keep them on, since my car has had a complete paint job it would take some work to get them off and then paint the spots where they used to be to get it to match. Plus i get enough people throwing their doors into my car so i'd rather not have the dents.
It's in the body shop right now getting its shaved stock front bumper cover and thruster spoiler put on!! I'll have it back by Monday, can't wait to see how it looks. :D
Now i just have to wait for my license plate bracket from Ben to get here. ;)
