Well as far as I can tell this is the best place to post this since there really isn't a maintenance forum. I was just wondering if any of you have sagging bumpers. My rear bumper has always had a little gap on the side between it and the rear quarter panel. I am planning on taking it off one of these days and trying to secure it a little better. Also a few weeks ago a bumped into someones rear end (no real damage) and now my front bumper has small gaps on the side between it and the front quarter panel. I am also gonna take it off and try to secure it better.

I guess my question is, do you guys have any suggestions on how to make them fit tighter to the rest of the car?? The little gaps really piss me off.

i had a small problem w/this after getting pummelled w/hail last year.. resecuring my body kit fixed it though...

other than that, no probs...

i'm sure that it could be tightened some how, not sure how though...

yeah, I'm sure I can secure it better somehow too, I guess I'll just have to wait til it gets nice enough out to take them off. Then I can see why they aren't fitting tight. Maybe there are just some loose/missing screws.

All I'm talking about is having a little gap in between the bumper and the panel, where it looks like it could fit tighter. I'm almost positive it will still be that way when we get together next time so I'll show you then.

I know exactly what you are talking about. The previous owner of my car had hit it hard on the passenger front corner and although it's been mostly repaired there is still a gap between the front valence and the tip of the fender on that side. I had the bumper off not too long ago to try and fix a headlight retract problem and still can't figure out how to fix the gap.
