what's a chip and what does it actually do for your car? where do you get them?

there is no "chip" for our cars. you need to send the computer in to get it reprogrammed... what the reprogramming will do for your car is to alter the computer so that the car will run better w/your mods.

having this done is a big deal once you are "heavily modded" (ie: jeremy). not doing this would be like modding the hell out of an old mustang v8 but running w/the stock holley tuned to stock specs... it's just doesn't make sense and will make the car run much worse than i could...
