Ever since I lowered my Probe (w/ Sprint springs) I get this clunking noise from the opposite side of the car from the direction I'm turning (i.e., if I make a left, it clunks on the passenger side; if I make a right, it clunks on the driver side). It only happens when I accelerate and turn at the same time, and it doesn't happen every time. I replaced the inner and outer tie rod ends, and I'm thinking that it's the front swaybar endlinks, but how would those make a clunk? Anyone have this same problem, or have any input?

Possibly ball joints. Mine clunks and you could feel a knock on the floorboard when it happened.
more of mounts since the car leans opposite side when turning causing alot of pressure therefore if shot they would make nasty irratating noises.

Thanks to those who replied - I think I found the problem. I was driving yesterday and noticed that if I turn left and accelerate, I can feel the motor rock back before the clunk sound - definately mounts. Too bad I already replaced the tie rod ends - I coulda saved some money...
