Wtf!

Today i was going on a cruise and i wanted to race this black si. We get stopped at a stop light and I pop the clutch at 3500 rpms. The wheels spin for like 2 seconds then i get pure slippage. Im like whoa, wtf!. I see if its anywhere in the gears and nothing. I turn off and try to spin them again. This time i get all slipage and no wheel spin. It has never done this before. Why is my clutch fubar all of a sudden???

you mean the engine revs up, but the wheels don't spin?

say bye-bye your clutch is gone sounds like you glazed it and continued use will cause it to heat even worse and shatter which will cause more troubl ie: stall car while driving, jam starter, destroy bellhousing ( requiring a new tranny)

well i tried it today and let me say....wow. The car ripped like hell. The wheels spin and little slip in second gear but that has always been there. I did run the car all day yesterday. Yes all day! Im still confused on why. I also had about 800lbs at different times.:confused:

did you check your fluid? you may be low???
