i decided to do some detailing today.
I started by scraping that Probe GT decal off the windshield which looked like shit, then spent an hour washing the car. I dryed it and then vacuumed the hell out of it. Its amazing how much sand and crap is on the floor of the back, more than the front :wtf: . There was some major oxidization around the sunroof, around the anntannae, behind the tailgate window, and on the back of the roof. So then I waxed the entire thing and then put another two or three coats on the bad oxidation spots and now their almost gone :D I might borrow a buffer or something and try to get rid of it completely. Anyway, my car is looking 10x better than it was before and i'm happy.

What brand of wax do u guys use? I use Mother's wax, it worked great for oxidated areas.

i used turtle wax before but it was a PITA. It was the kind in the can, not the bottle. I tried the bottle stuff and it was easier and worked good too.

is that the same as the wax? if its polish, deosn't it take layers of the finish off? it doesn't look like there's too much on the wheels for a finish/
