Does anyone have any reccomendations for what brand/type of alarm I should get. I was also wondering if I should have it put in by the place that I buy it from or if they're possible to put in myself?

I recomend a DEI one. Any place that sells them will install it too (well...they are supposed to include it in the price)

i love my clifford and dei makes them too (afaik - some of my addon's are dei anyway)...

talk to dave @ audio king he can set you up... or jeremy @ best buy...

Which Audio King and Best Buy?

Another question: Will either of those places take out the Keyless entry system/starter kill that the dealer put in?

I would think they could, they'll do anything if you pay them enough. Might ask if they can just override it and control it with the alarm instead of completely removing it? Might save a few $$$.

To me you have to research a little, find out what features you want first. The get whatever brand has it all.
