I'm doing a ZE swap right now and I'm not sure if it would be easier to pull just the engine or both the engine and the transmission. Those of you who've done it, what do you think?

Depends on you I guess. I've done it both ways, but I prefer taking the motors and tranny's out as a unit.

that would sound easier. if you think about it you can get everything lined up before you put it all back in. then when it's in it's just hooking up the harness, lines etc...

Vacuum lines suck in these cars.

tell me about it well don't. I know I had one break under the intake and had to pull it just to fix it.

Theyre not that bad. Ive had my IM off about 7 times and I have them pretty much memorized. I can get one off and disassembled in about 17 minutes. Removal time is 12 minutes flat. Is that on the brink of obsession?
