New member...here is mine 97 GTS

Here is my car. Just got my baby recently. I have replaced the fog lights, and done the one wiper mod. I have a sony detachable face cd player with a 10 disc changer, 2 12 inch JBL's, and a pioneer amp. Ive torn out the tint with a razor blade and windex, which makes my car look nicer.

thanks for the compliments. And I do want to race! As for engine mods. Nada.. But I would like to. But, I need help. I want to lower my car a little, and maybe change the rims. Those are the factory crome. Humm....It looks better without that ishy tint I had. I maybe will get new tint..

Oh......is that the factory chrome rims? Does your GT have the 2.5L engine? What's an intake manifold? I want some NAAAASSS for my car. I think I'm going to get a ZEX or Nitrous Express NAAASSSS kit. :lol:

2.5 it is. Im not familiar with engine terms. I know how to change my oil, and replacing some parts. Im clueless to making my car faster. But, I would like to know.

great...to see you got on the board..i am the one who put the card on your car...man i see a ton of probes in the northtown best buy parking lot...also put a card on a black 95 GT last week at the maple grove parking lot he had exuahst,and chromies...knock anouther refferal up for me curt...:p

whats the difference between my model the GTS and the other models? speed, engine, options, etc?

GTS was just a package of chrome rims, racing stripes and a spoiler. Sorry.....thats it. :( Same 2.5L v6 (164 hp) as the GT (93-97) well the 93 KL-03 was a little different, but I won't get into that. base (some say GL because GL was what the base 1st gens were called - 89-92) and SE have the same 2.0 i4. Curty can help you with that one because I know just about nothing about it. 1st gen had GL (2.2 NA), LX (3.0 v6....I think it was only offered in 90-92 though) and the GT (2.2 turbo = fast when modded)

acutally the 2.0's were pretty much the same.. some minor differences but nothing that would be that big of a deal. the obdii have some issues though... like a different fly wheel...

If I ever get a car *probe* (Maybe this weekend!!:D) You guys won't be able to joke with me. I don't know much, but for not even having one to look at now and then yet, I know my fair share about these wonderful machines man hath named "PROBE".

I'm calling someone tomorrow about a 93 GT, mtx. If it isn't sold yet... Watch out!! This crazy bastard might be behind the wheel in a neighborhood near you. ;)


BTW, That is a sweet GTS at the top of the page. Way to go Newbie!! Though, I would have like to have seen that mirrored tint you took off on the car, I was kinda thinkin that would look cool. Maybe not on a red one, huh. It'd look good on a black or silver car for sure though.:tup:
