alright... i'm getting really sick of this shit! on my way to work today on i35w between hwy 36 and stinson blvd my broc decides that it wants to take a rest :wtf:

i managed to get it on the shoulder near stinson but it took me 2 or 3 minutes to get it started again.... not sure what the hell went wrong... my dad thinks that it has something to do w/the ignition control module and pickup sensors... problem is, they are expensive and require quite a bit of work to replace....

so, i've been wanting a new truck for about 3 years now. still haven't gotten one. the plan was to wait until next spring after things have settled down a bit from the wedding... now i'm thinking.... NOW!

here's what i want -

mid-size truck (like a tacoma or ranger or s10). it MUST be a 5-speed and must NOT have a 4-cyl.... i would prefer a tacoma but @ this point anything will do...

keep your eyes open and let me know if you guys see anything!

why 5 speed? Once you drove a manual, you could never go back?

my first car was an 84 excort, 4 cyl, auto... it sucked! next, i had an 83 s10, 4 cyl, 2wd, 4-speed... much better... even though they were both POS's i knew that i would never want anohter auto. my broc was next, 5-speed. then i got my gtu, that was an auto. i only drove it for 3 months and it had to go...

i just don't want to buy another auto and want to sell it right away agian. i want to get a truck that's going to last me another 7 years or so...

anyway, i think that i found one... 2000 ranger, 4x4, 4.0, 5-speed, 4-door, short bed.... :D

I'll agree with that, however, $13K is insanely expensive for someone who owes more than that already and has a total of about $2k in the whole WORLD! minus the value of my sweet car, of course.:p
