Is there such a thing you can get to raise your rear end an inch or so, so you can get that extra 0.1 in your 60ft.
I think i heard about a spacer or something, but i don't know.
i allmost wonder if having ground controls on the back would do the trick if they were raised to the roof? but i don't know

i sure that you could fabricate some type of spacer to put in the strut tower... don't know if it would be safe or not though... as far as any commercial product.... i have no idea.

So that's what darin used. I remember him talking about some spacer thing he used. He used them on his 13.87 @ 106mph run. He has completely stock suspension, so those would probably help a lot. BTW.....I believe his 60' was 2.1

REally so he doesn't have a stock suspension after all, if he has these spacers that is.
i first came across this in an old turbo magazine, that had a huge article on getting you 60ft times down while under heavy boost.
-spacers in the rear
-super tight suspension
-don't even bother taking your foot off the clutch in first gear.
those were some of the points i still remember.

The trick isn't raising the rears... It's the stiffness so they don't compress to begin with. That's weight transfer, which pulls traction from the front wheels.
Stiff springs will help this, so would Illuminas set to 5. The "spacer" is something that goes into the spring coils to keep them "spaced apart" so that they don't compress.
